Pony Kegerators
Keg sizes are standardized within a country. However, the size varies from country to country with countries outside of the US using the metric system and different couplers on the tap.
A pony kegerator would be designed to contain a pony keg (7.75 US gallons). The smaller pony keg is easier to move and the pony kegerator might be perfect where space is a big consideration.
A full keg is 15.5 gallons and is usually referred to as a half-barrel. A half keg is also called a pony keg or quarter-barrel. In terms of fluid ounces, a pony keg (quarter-barrel) would provide about 82 twelve ounce drinks, not counting the tap drips, of course.
